A Message from Dr. Jason Hui

Welcome to our neighborhood office, where we know our patients and their families by name. Our practice is built on the strong Gold Standards listed above. To us, the only way to provide excellent care and a wonderful experience is with a gentle touch. We take this very seriously, going above and beyond to make sure our patients are comfortable.

Many families are busy juggling school and work schedules. To help, we have extended hours (7am-7pm) so you can schedule appointments before and after work. We respect your time, so we run on time. We also offer family block appointments, and we do our best to complete your care in as few visits as possible.

Common Dental Care Questions & Answers

• How often do I need a cleaning?

  For most people, having a cleaning every six months will help them keep their gums healthy, their breath fresh, and their teeth white and clean. Our hygienists who perform cleanings are very kind and gentle, ensuring that you are well taken care of each time you visit. Their goal is to make cleaning appointments on time and enjoyable. And with our convenient hours, you can schedule your cleanings before and after work or school.

• Will my child like going to the dentist?

  We look forward to seeing kids light up over and smile in our office! We take the time needed to build excitement about dental visits, and we show children how important it is to keep those “cavity bugs” away. Also, we
  have several amenities just for kids:

• When do teens need their wisdom teeth out?

  Wisdom teeth are the third set of molars, and they grow in last - typically between the ages of 15 and 25. Some people are fortunate enough to have their wisdom teeth grow in straight and with enough room to fit, but most people aren't so lucky. Even if your teenager’s wisdom teeth aren’t causing any pain or other problems right now, she would still benefit from x-rays and a consultation with us. Having wisdom teeth removed before they grow in and cause problems is best, both for your teen’s comfort and for the development of his smile. We remove wisdom teeth in our office so you won’t have to be referred elsewhere.

• I have a toothache. What should I do?

  There’s not much worse in dental care than being in tremendous pain from a toothache or other dental emergency and not being able to get an appointment with your dentist. We reserve openings in our schedule every business day so we have the time needed to help patients in pain. That means if you come in with a cracked tooth, we will do everything we can to relieve your pain and fix the problem - the same day you come in!

  Another unique thing about our practice is that we don’t charge for emergency exams and emergency x-rays. We only charge if we fix anything, so you can come in to at least find out what’s wrong without paying a fee before you decide when you’d like to have the problem fixed.

• What if I'm a little nervous?

  If you feel nervous about or even afraid of dental treatment, you’re not alone. It’s actually quite common. Our goal is to always provide compassionate care with a gentle touch. For some patients, being sedated during their appointment is important. In most cases, we’re able to give our patients medicine that totally relaxes them and allows them to rest during their visit. We then complete as much of their treatment as possible, after which they regain alertness feeling comfortable and refreshed. Our practice also has many amenities to make your dental experiences enjoyable, including TVs, complimentary beverages, and warm scented towels. Your comfort is our top priority.

• Do you accept my insurance?

  Our practice is in-network for many PPOs, and we offer several other payment options. Call us so we can help explain your insurance to you. Especially in today’s economy, we understand that many patients have financial concerns.
